This Mercury engine is a brand new leftover stock engine still in the factory shipping crate from Mercury Marine. The engine is a fuel injected fourstroke model with electric start. This engine is the 20 inch shaft length model. This engine is the tiller handle model engine with the upgraded big tiller handle. The engine does not have power trim, but is equipped with the gas assist ram to help raise and lower the engine. Additionally, this engine has the Command Thrust gearcase which swings a bigger prop deeper in the water. This engine was manufactured on 10/05/14

The high-displacement, long-stroke, four-cylinder, single-overhead cam design provides optimum power and a smooth ride. Increased thrust is delivered by a 2.33:1 gear ratio with 44% larger gears. The desmodromic shifting is ultra-smooth. An 18-amp high-output alternator keeps the battery charged to power multiple electrical devices. The 60hp Command Thrust Mercury matches the acceleration and fuel efficiency of our competitor's more expensive 70hp outboard model.
