Fused cast AZS Blocks from China

Fused Cast AZS Block, also named as electro Zircon(ia) Corundum Brick, is an important and most widely used refractory material to ensure the normal operation of glass melting furnaces. The raw materials (Al2O3-ZrO2-SiO2) of fused cast AZS block series are manufactured by fusing completely into the molds, then it proceeds with further processes of cooling and burning. According to ZrO2 content difference, our company has series of ZS-AZS#33, ZS-AZS#36, ZS-AZS#41. And also based on different casting shapes, our materials can be classified with regular/normal (PT/RN/RC/N),oriented(TC/OC/QX), reduced cavity (ZWS/RR/EVF/ENC/EC), or without cavity–void free (WS/RT/VF/EPIC/FVP/DCL/FC).

At present, glass melting furnaces increase the melting rate, extend the life of the furnace, and reduce fuel consumption mainly due to the use of this refractory material.

Applications of AZS Refractories

Fused cast AZS block is mainly applied to all the melting pool where directly gets in touch with the glass liquids such sidewall, paving of working end, doghouse bricks, super structure, fore hearth, throat, bubbling brick, corner brick, etc.
