Colour | White Crystal Powder |
DAOS is a color developing raw material used in biological reagent kits, with CAS 83777-30-4. It is a white solid powder with high water solubility. As an aniogue, it has exnt stability and is suitable for biochemical testing experiments. The specific detection items include the following:
1. DAOS for detecting blood sugar
In daily blood testing, glucose measurement is one of the important clinical detection indicators. The new Trinder's reagent DAOS coupled with 4-aminoantipyrine as a reduced chromogen can determine glucose content.
2. DAOS for cholesterol detection
By coupling DAOS and 4-AAP, a color reaction is generated with H2O2 catalyzed by peroxidase, and the concentration of total cholesterol can be determined by measuring absorbance.
3. DAOS for triglyceride detection
In the presence of lipoprotein esterase, triglycerides are hydrolyzed to form glycerol and fatty acids, and glycerol and ATP are catalyzed by glycerol kinase to form glycerol-3-ste and ADP. Glycerol-3-ste and oxygen generate DHAP and H2O2 under the catalysis of glycerol-3-ste oxidase (GPO), while the chromogenic substrate DAOS follows the same principle. 4-AAP coupling with H2O2 produces a chromogenic reaction, and TG concentration is measured.
4. DAOS detection of high-density lipoprotein
When DAOS is used to detect high-density lipoprotein, it reacts through a dual reagent form, which contains polyanions and surfactants and selectively binds to extremely low density lipoprotein and low density lipoprotein. At the same time, it will suppress the chemical oxygen demand in reagent 2, and CEH will act on VLDH-CH and LDH-CH. Thus, through the action of CEH-COD-POD and the measurement of absorbance, the concentration of HDL can be determined. Finally, the LDL concentration can be calculated.
