Due to the center of srical raceway of outer ring which is coinciding with the center of bearing, this makes it have a self-aligning capability. If there is a deflection of the shaft or housing or misalignment of their axes, it is automatically corrected the excessive force which is not applied to bearings. Srical roller bearing has a high load carrying capacity for radial load and axial load in two directions. Srical roller bearing is especially suitable for carrying heavy loads and impact loads, but this type of bearing permits a lower limiting speed. The permissible aligning angle of the srical roller bearing working in normal conditions is 1°~2.5°.
