Application
Because the soil solution is usually saturated with carbon dioxide, after potassium carbonate is applied to the soil, a relatively high alkation can be produced around the fertilization site, but it quickly changes to potassium bicarbonate, and the alkalinity is reduced. At the same time, K ion contained in potassium carbonate can further exchange with ions on soil colloid, so that most of K ion can be absorbed by colloid, residual calcium carbonate and other forms of carbonate, it's anions into carbonic acid release carbon dioxide and water. Therefore, the use of a certain amount of potassium carbonate and plant ash is safe for both soil and crops.
Method
CAS 584-08-7 alkassium fertilizer is suitable for base fertilizer generally, when doing topdressing, apply deep and cover with soil, not suitable for seed fertilizer
Notice
Potassium carbonate should not be mixed with other fertilizers, especially ammonium nitrogen, before being put into the soil due to it's strong moisture absorption and alkalinity
