21.5 Inch Multi-touch PCAP Touch Screen
YS2158831V1 is a PCAP (projected capacitive) touch screen, powered by a 5V touch controller with USB interface from ILITEK, supporting multi-touch up to 10 points, compatible with Windows, Android, Linux, Harmony OS and Mac OS. It's plug-and-play with USB interface. RS232 and IIC interfaces are for option.
Structure: GG (glass-on-glass), ITO technology PCAP touchscreen sensor glass optically bonded with strengthened front glass. The cover glass is 2mm thickness and it is chemically strengthened. The ITO sensor glass is 0.7mm with etched ITO patterns and silk ink traces. Sensor glass is for realizing the touch function and the cover glass is for protecting the sensor glass. Also it helps to assmeble it to the enclosure, as the cover glass is about 10mm larger each side than the sensor glass.
Type: COB (chip on board), touch IC from ILITEK, USB/RS232/IIC interface connectors are soldered on the controller board. USB interface is plug and play, compatible with ordinary operating systems. RS232 needs serial driver and it supports long-distance data communication, up to 15 meters. IIC interface also needs touchscreen driver.
