Direct Roving
Direct roving is a ready â to â sell continuous one-end strand produced in the drawing process and wound on bobbins with 200 mm internal diameter.The main advantage of direct roving is zero catenary and exnt appearance.
That is the reason why direct roving is used for production of fabrics and geogrids, as well for production of pultruded profiles and rebar. For other applications customers may need roving with much higher tex, comparing to direct roving, such as 2400 or 4800 tex.
Some customers canât use direct roving, because they need roving wound on bobbins with external unwinding. These products can be produced in form of assembled roving.
