Role: Uses: local anesthetic Biological activity: Pramoxinais a topical local anesthetic with antipruritic effect.In vitro studies Pramoxina is usually combined with Colloidaloatmeal, Hydrocortisona, Menthol, and Petrolatum. In vivo study Pramoxina (1.7mM) acts on the ileum of guinea pigs, reducing the response to subChemicalbookstanceP to a lesser extent than reducing the response to acetylchotamina and BaCl2. Pramoxina acts on the ileum of guinea pigs and has anesthesia inhibitory effect with a pKa of 6.4. Pramoxina handles panting and trembling dogs, activation and inhibition, and both cause specific skin temperature changes. These changes are interpreted as periral mediation in the control of the thermoregulatory mechanism. In vivo study: Levobupivacaina and bupivacaina have similar nerve blocking efficacy. Levobupivacaina inhibited motor muscle and pain response at a dose of 0.125%, with the maximum %MPE of 99 and 68, respectively, and inhibited the duration of sciatic nerve block lagging motor muscle and pain response (60 and 30, respectively). |
