Tremella polysaccharides (TP) is the main active ingredient in Tremella fungus. It is derived from the heteropolysaccharide isolated and purified from Tremella fruiting bodies and Tremella submerged fermentation spores. Its main chain is mannan polytang composed of α-(1-3)-glucosidic bonds, and residues such as glucose, xylose, fucose and ordinary uronic acid are connected to the 2, 4, and 6 positions of the main chain. The side chain of its active center is the common structural part of α-(1-3)-mannan polytang.
