Dear Sir Madam, This is LauraLinder from US. I'm looking for products with the following specifications: Hello, My name is Laura Linder. I am an International Buyer for a major US Corporation which I will disclose at a later date should we decide to do business with your company. We are in the process of launching a new roducts in two separate industries and I am looking for bulk small agate slices at wholesale cost as one of the components. The product measurements must be exact as specified. Recently we placed a significant order of agate gemstones from a manufacturing company in India. Needless to say, our buyer took the seller's word that product would arrive as agreed upon sizing, color and ship time and the result was a disaster. Unfortunately, our buyer no longer works for our company and we now have a new process for which we will do business with manufacturing companies outside of the US. Before I waste any of our time I will be upfront by saying that we will only consider doing business with a company that will send a sample of the requested items for inspection. Once the item(s) are received, inspected and product turnaround time noted, it is then we will consider pricing and which manufacturer we will work with. Product Specifications: Each agate slice must be 8mm in thickness (after polished) - cannot be thinner or thicker and no larger than 2 inches diameter, ideal size would be 1 12 inch. Can be somewhat oval or round, and we understand that each agate will vary in color, clearly and sharply banded with translucent in the center (druzy), we understand that no two gemstones are ever exactly alike. Will need to know what colors your company supplies, whether dyed or natural color with a lighter tint (drusy) inside the center of each agate, and receive a sample in each color, polished and unpolished, to see the quality of product and help in our decision to conduct business with you.. Must have 2 holes drilled - one hole at the 'top' and the other hole any place on the face of the agate in the darkest colored section of the agate - both must be exactly 3mm diameter. Our orders will be large and consistent so it is vital that we always have product available that meets exact requirements. Purchasing the stones is only one step in the process to get final product to market, so it is imperative that our supply for demand does not encounter any hitch in the system. Would also need quotes on product with gold or silver foil on outer edge of the stone. . Also will take quotes with hanging clasp instead of one of the holes, with the 3mm additional hole (would be the equivalent to 2 holes as explained above.). In order to be considered as a vendor you must: 1. Send example items for inspection so we can determine if your product is of highest quality and meets our specification requirements. This also gives you the advantage to get our business over other companies not willing to show us the product before we purchase. 2. Have track record of good business with US companies. References will be required. 3. Quick product turn around time (2 week max) 4. Be able to ship large orders in specific colors, and always exact measurements, as needed with no longer than 2 week turn-around time. 5.Communicate in English Thank you for your time.
