GISPAT LIMITED, one of the largest manufacturers of long steel products in Bangladesh based in Chittagong is set to commission the country’s biggest integrated steel mill from May 2019. An EAF Quantum Electric Arc Furnace with a tap-to-tap time of 40 minutes will produce steel at a rate of up to 36 heats per day. The bar and section mill will have a maximum production rate of 120 t per hour and a rolling speed of up to 27 meters per second. This State-Of-The-Art Technology will require less than 2 hrs for production of finished product from steel scrap DRI in a single process. All these technological solutions will substantially reduce conversion costs and will help the company taking its monthly steel production capacity of more than 1.0 million tonnes. We will be needing almost 100 thousand Mt scrap, Shredded, HMS, P&S, Profile etc, per month. We are interested to procure raw materials from you directly.
