My client has a gas oven that he uses for drying parts and we want to put a heat exchange inside the oven to absorb some heat from the inside of the oven into water flowing in and out of the heat exchange from outside the oven. I would like to put a heat exchange inside his oven to re-heat water for a GENESIS appliance when the oven is running. The specifications are as follows: * the temperature inside the oven is typically between 180 deg C and 200 deg C. NOTE: The oven temperature will not change even though heat is transferred through the heat exchanger. * we need to re-heat incoming waste water from about 26.5 deg C up to about 57.25 deg C. * the water flow rate will be about 14.4 l s. * the total amount of heat exchanged should be about 1, 849 kW. * As mentioned in the note above, the oven is heated by a thermostatically controlled burner so the oven temperature should not change when heat is passed into the water because the oven is constantly being reheated. * we strictly do not want any water turning into steam. If any water inside the heat exchange does turn into steam it must safely vent off. We will fit PSV to the inlet pipe and the outlet pipe but the engineer should check the heat exchange design to ensure this will be adequate venting for the heat exchange. * we want water to drain out of the heat exchange when the outside system is not in use so we will fit a normally-open electronic valve to the incoming water pipe connection. The engineer should consider the requirement for water to drain out to the incoming water pipe. * the water to be re-heated is waste water from a metal plating t has a low - it might have a low and it might contain a of precious metals. We can do some adjustment, but we need to know the best material for a low and we need to know how much adjustment is required to increase the to the right level for the material we are using. We are flexible in this regard so long as we are told the necessary information. Let us know if the heat exchange material has issues with any articular adjustment chemicals. I think it is most likely that the best pipe material is stainless steel but we are open to your suggestion for pipe material. I think the best fin material might be aluminium but I need your engineer to check that this material will be OK inside the drying oven. * Space inside the oven is precious so the heat exchange should be designed with a small footprint. The oven is about 2m wide and 2m high so please use the width and height of the oven to reduce the footprint when designing the heat exchanger. * I need to know your recommended material, dimensions and price. * I need to know your delivery time.
