Dear Turbine Supplier I am an Engineer form Canada and I am presently in the lippine working on a Power Plant project. I have an opportunity to provide up to 1.5MW of a steam generating power system. I would need 2x steam generator package with an inlet steam mass flow rate of 15000lbs hr at 175psig or 6800 kg hr at 13.1 bars. power out 440-460Volt 3se 60hz. I would ask that you figure out the best you can do with your units with the steam I have availableIf your price is within theimmediate budget, the order for 2 would be given within 3 weeks. If not, we will be ordering one, again within 3 weeks. The reason that I get this opportunity is that the unit that was supposed to come from the USA is not available. It was a 28000lbs hr unit, that a supplier was stuck with. They found a buyer before my client was able to purchased it. I am getting in touch with all the that I approach a few years ago on a project I was trying to sell in Canada. I would like to get this project. I need this project to demonstrate my system so it is a Win-Win for the Generator supplier and myself. The client had found the unit that was available in the US so presently, I was only responsible for the engineering. Now I get to install supply the steam turbine and do the engineering for a better system.I know you have some options available, keep in mind that decision will be based on the costfor the best unit that fits within the budget since there is a fixed budget for us to demonstrate the benefit of going partially off the grid. My client is financing me to show my off the grid concept.To simplify the quotation, and since each different model offerimprovement on the efficiencies send me a quotation for each different model that you would like to offer. Just make sure your steam inlet is 15000lbs hr or less. for each unit. I have 30,000lbs hr available for now. With the future upgrade, this will go up. From the quotation that I received before, I believe that it is possible to get units at 125000US per unit for two, At 125000US per unit for two,I am within the budget. Higher is ok, but I have to do extra work to see if I can reduce the costelsewhereand still get two units, or we get one now and the next one once when we know how much money remains. I have to give a complete turnkey package price this is why I need to know the unit cost and everything I will need to add to do the install and operate the turbine. The boiler is installed..If you are within the budget, I will be flying to the manufacturer factory in the next week or two base on getting a visa and we will work out the details for a complete contract and performance agreement. The contract is through me but my client is financing me so, I only need to show that it is not costing any more than before. We need to clearly tell them what they will get with your unit. Technically we will be comparing your unit to the unitthat they did not get because they understand that one so it is easier to compare the unit to finalize the sale. I am not the only one but I believe that I have a head start because I receive the bad good new about the other unit last night and the client was a little depressed. He will not start looking before Monday, which is Tuesday here in Asia so we have a good head start.
