I seek motherboard(s) with at least 5 and as many as 6 PCI slots, plus 1 fast PCI express gracs slot OR full 1080p onboard gracs. Ideally they will dual socket 2011 slots to accept 2 of the cheap yet fast Xeon CPUs plentiful on Ebay. The motherboard would also be even more awesome if it has 3GB of RAM built in on the board (and maybe NO RAM slots at all) as that is about all XP OS supports N E way & this is a 'fast yet legacy compatible' concept. If it has audio the chip should NOT force resampling, such as the Analog Devices AD1981b (or a copy of it), which sounds better (more natural) than any other computer sound chip and is very inexpensive =) Realtek and Creative type brands are by far the worst, forcing resampling which destroys sound quality. The motherboards I buy will be for audio recording and editing purposes to run multiple plentiful old (used) ntom power micropreamplifier cards & other audio 'studio' devices in the many PCI slots slots =) ALL PCI SLOTS MUST HAVE MAXIMUM POWER AVAILABLE! No 'some powered some below' nonsense. It must be a reliable PROFESSIONAL quality board, not an underpowered or overheating 'hobby' item. It must be able to run all day every day non stop at full speed without the capacitors failing, etc. It must NOT be 'under designed' to 'barely work at speed', but instead MUST be designed to meet full spec 24 7 without failing. Using real (lead-based) solder is very important for this, as ROHS compliance (which isn't even required in Europe, let alone America for 'industrial' products) causes 'tin whiskers' & other problems like lose connections due to stiffness & poor heat handling. ROHS is a to make things break!
