In 304 Stainless Steel, current pricing is averaging around $2.30 - $3.00 per pound. That equates to roughly $0.20 - $0.25 per part in material costs. Since these parts will be cast instead of made from bar stock, this means that the parts produced per pound should be more like 13 to 15 per pound.
