Marmaro is the brand name of premium quality extra virgin olive oil, olives and olive pastes. We  have early harvest extra virgin olive oil and conventional extra virgin olive oil from the Halkidiki coarse olive variety.

The early harvest extra virgin olive oil:

• Harvesting takes place from September 15th to October 15th, from green olives that are collected exclusively by hand.

• The harvest in the region of Halkidiki is the first in the world! The other regions such as Crete, Kalamata, etc, start harvesting after a month or two.

• It has a health claim due to the 0.31 acidity and the high polyphenol content (471mg/Kg).

• It is has a characteristic intense aroma that stands out and a slightly bitter and spicy aftertaste.

• It is bottled in 7 different formats:    50 ml  white painted bottle /    100 ml white painted bottle / 200 ml white painted bottle    / 200 ml transparent bottle in paper box  / 500 ml white painted bottle, plain or in a cylindrical paper box / 250 ml tin /  500 ml tin

The conventional extra virgin olive oil:

• Harvesting takes place from October 20th to November 20th, from green or black olives that are harvested either by hand or with olive pickers.

• It has an acidity of 0.4

• It is characterized by an intense aroma that stands out and a slightly bitter and spicy aftertaste, more moderate than the early harvest oil.

• It is bottled in 2 formats: 250 ml tin and 500 ml tin

We produce two types of olives, Green olives of the Halkidiki olive variety and Black raisin olives of the Halkidiki olive variety.

Regarding the green olives:

• Harvesting takes place from September 15th to October 15th exclusively by hand.

• Their tempering is done exclusively by a natural traditional way that lasts about 7 months

• Packed in 2 formats: In vacuum 250g paper box and in glass jar 180g strained product

Regarding the black raisin olives:

• Harvesting takes place from September 20 to October 20, from black ripe olives.

• Their initial tempering has been achieved on the tree and the final tempering exclusively by a natural traditional way that lasts about 4 months

• Packed in two formats: in vacuum 250g paper box and in glass jar 200g strained product.

We produce olive pastes of Halkidiki green olive variety and Halkidiki black olive variety with various flavors. It should be noted that the best quality olives are used in all flavors.
