MARHAS TRADING is a company that carries out small production industry in fruit-based snacks specifically in chips processing.The company was established in 2016 and is currently producing fruit chips such as jackfruit chips and banana chips.The company owns a 14 acres of land in Lenggeng, Negeri Sembilan since 2013. The type of jack fruit tree planted is the Honey Jackfruit. The company now has approximately 1200 trees that were planted through a series of phases. The first phase trees are now 4 years old.In 2016, MARHAS TRADING company had built a 30 feet x 160 feet factory to place machines for chips processing. Currently, the company owns 2 units of the vacuum frying machine that can process 200 kg of seedless jackfruit flesh in one day. 800 packets of 50 gm packets can be produced.The jackfruit chips were produced by frying the fruit in a vacuum frying machine. Seeds were taken out of the flesh and then cut into suitable sizes to be fried. No additives or sugar is added during the process. The oil that is used is refined palm oil. Hence, the sweetness of the chips comes from the fruit itself.For marketing purposes, the company has applied for Halal certificate and MESTI from the Malaysia Ministry of Health to ensure the quality of the chips.
