Founded in Konye and registered at the regional register of cooperative societies on the 20th January 2014. Konye Emergence Farmers Cooperative society was created by Ndol village cash and food crops farmers; located in Konye subdivision, the South West region of Cameroon. Koefcoop is an extensive farmers' networks of cooperatives and CIGs in the South West region of Cameroon. Koefcoop has 300 registered farmers, with an average annual production of 1500tons of cocoa and 500tons of coffee. The main aim of Koefcoop is to eradicate endemic poverty, protect the environment, promote gender equity in Konye, its environs, and the South West region of Cameroon.Koefcoop net income of production contributes directly or indirectly to the improvement of livelihood in village communities. Such improvements could range from the operation of micro-credit scheme to community members; support for clean water supply, construction of village public toilets and other sanitation projects: healthcare centers and services; technical and vocational training initiatives; charity care services for vulnerable segments of the population, such as the disabled, the elderly or orphans; voluntary services to community projects; etc.
