Eastcolight (Hong Kong) Ltd., a member of the Eastco Group, was established in 1991 and is well credited by bringing quality microscopes, telescopes, binoculars and other fine optical devices to the mass and specialty market. In keeping with our long-standing tradition of innovation, quality, durability and value, Eastcolight believes in leveraging the convergence of education and fun. Eastco Group has expanded to comprise four main divisions, which consist of Eastcolight headquarters located in Hong Kong, an Eastco factory in Zhongshan City, China, a branch office which was established in 2004 in Macau and a showroom in the Guangzhou International Toys and Gifts Centre which was opened in 2005. These subsidiaries provide the complete integration of R&D, manufacture and marketing services for every stage in the production process, which have led to shortened lead time from design to production and increased efficiency resulted in lower unit costs. Eastcolight's manufacturing operations are housed in a well-equipped 600,000-square-foot facility, which addresses the market's demand for high-quality products in required volumes and in a timely and cost-effective manner. Our factory, which includes 8 buildings, employs technically trained craftsmen, engineers and skilled labor force of over two thousand who utilize in-house technologies for product design, tooling, injection, color-spraying, pad-printing, assembling and warehousing, to deliver products that assure success in the marketplace. Directing this same discipline towards quality control has also allowed our factory to attain ISO9001, ICTI Code of Business Practices, SA8000 and CCC certifications. With an eye towards increasing expansion, the reserved lands around our factory would allow Eastcolight to multiply our production capacity. While making continuous effort to enhance the image of well-established brands, such as Micro-Science, Tele-Science and Master-of-Spy, our newly introduced brands of e-Science, Science Time, Elite Girl, Spring & Summer and others have greatly widened the scope of Eastcolight's collections. As a highly dynamic company, Eastcolight also welcomes OEM partnerships, which has helped to maximize our business in the past years. Till now, Eastcolight has developed over 300 items and continues to add more every year. With such aggressive development plans, however, it is not surprising to notice that Eastcolight's service does not limit to our immediate customers, such as public sales channels like importers, wholesalers and major retailers, but also reaches to end-users by providing personal assistance. Through this, a strong bond of confidence in guaranteed quality between end-users, public sales channels and Eastcolight is firmly created.
