The levels of sunlight and rainfall along equator line are ideal condition for largescale plant growth with almost half of the world's rainforests concentrated in these regions.
Among other Southeast Asia native trees:
• Indonesian Teak tree
(Tectona Grandis), and
• Mahogany tree (Toona Sureni)
are well known tropical hard wood trees valued for its oil content, dense grain, and strength thus giving final furniture product long durability and weather resistance properties.
