Essential oils and herbs is a company established as an association of different essential oils plants producers, WHO did not have a distillery and who strived to find, plant certified seedling and to access international markets.
5 years ago finally we managed to make this reunion by creating a joint company called Essential oils and Herbs Ltd. First we brought together and scaled fields, land plots and plants in order to create one of the largest plantations located in southeast Bulgaria.
We built up own distillery and purchased all the necessary modern agricultural equipment for field cultivation, harvesting and processing the plants
All the fields are planted with our own planting material, as some of the farmers take care of it. This is very important because it guarantees us a homogeneous, high quality final product.
The next important step of development of the company was to certify the activity according to internationally recognized standards as well as REACH registration for lavender processing.
The distillery is certified for processing Organic raw materials. We are proud to be able to offer our partners Organic products (essential oils and floral waters) manufactured and processed by us with high quality according to their needs.
Collaborating with different farmers allows us to experiment with different crops and for this reason; much of our lands have a completely built irrigation system. This enables us to meet the challenges of climate changes. The forecast for the next years shows that irrigation will be crucial for growing aromatic plants. We are constantly testing the quality of water used for irrigation.
We have made significant investments in the distillery to include various measuring instruments and are constantly investing in training the stuff in order to improve their skills to monitor the quality of each stage of the production process of essential oils
Another advantage of our company is that we have a warehouse for storage of essential oils and floral waters. Thus, at any time our products are stored under optimal conditions and have a homogeneous quality that meets the needs of our partners.
As many of the members of the association are part of the local community, we ESSENTIAL OILS AND HERBS, Ltd. are proud to support and contribute to educational, sports and other activities focused at the integration of minority groups, trying to create additional employment in the months when there is no active agricultural production.
