PT Phapros, Tbk is a pharmaceutical company which is a subsidiary of PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia (RNI), which currently control shares up to 56,6% and the rest is held by the public, including employees. Since it was founded more than 50 years ago, precisely on June 21st 1954, PT. Phapros, Tbk which was originally a part of business of Oei Tiong Ham Corcern with the name NV Pharmaceuticals Processing Industries since the beginning has made a corporate culture based on professionalism and quality oriented. High commitment to quality and environmental standards proofed by continuously tracking changes in quality standards through implementation of the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), current Herbal Good Manufacturing Practices (cHGMP), as well as the requirements of the distribution of medical devices and Medical Device Good Manufacturing Practices (MDGMP), Finance and Accounting Standard Requirements and Integrated Management System of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO/IEC 17025 and Risk Management. Currently, the company has produced more than 284 items of drugs, and most of them are the result of the company development (non-licensed) that are classified into ethical, generic, OTC, and Agromed. Beside to produce its own drugs, PT Phapros, Tbk is trusted by the other pharmaceutical companies to produce pharmaceutical product through Contract Manufacturing cooperation. The products in addition to national needs as well as to the needs of other countries through export cooperation established since 2013. Until now, there are 6 products are allowed to circulate in neighboring countries, such as Cambodia. In addition, the company has begun to expand the scope of its business in the sector of non-drug form of non-electro medical devices that have obtained distribution permission from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. To strengthen the business foundation, management strives to implement Good Corporate Governance (GCG). Also, management will continue to build professional competence of personnel through human resources development program, to bring the company into the era of free trade as a leading pharmaceutical company in the region.
