Barkat Rice Mills (BRM) was established in the year 1999 with significant investment in the best available technology of Buhler from Germany and Switzerland. Highly trained and skillful professionals in the industry were hired to ensure the best use of the technology employed. The company has extended its exports to more than thirty (30) countries in the world within a short span of 23 years.
The rice processing plant installed at Islamabad was supplied by world-renowned Buhler GmbH consisting of modern and sophisticated machines introduced first time in Pakistan. The performance of these machines is ranked amongst the best in the world. With an annual capacity of 40,000 tons (5 tons / hr.), the plant performs with remarkable accuracy that others find hard to match.
Barkat Rice Mills have own Husking Unit at Gujrat, Punjab. Machinery was imported from SATAKE of Japan to set up the Husking plant. The plant has been performing extremely efficiently since commissioning. A high level of automation and well-thought-out plant layout ensures; no human contact from the husking to the packing stage. Silos have also been installed which enhances the storage capacity by up to 10,000 Metric Tons.
In addition to Rice, Barkat Rice Mills also deals in other allied products, and export to our clients are as follows:
