Fresh Green Plantains

Specification:    PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS FOR PREMIUM FRESH GREEN PLANTAINS Our fresh green plantains are mature, not over ripe, neither soft, carefully hand-packed, well developed, clean, well-formed and smooth. We guarantee a product free from decay, injury, sunscald and bruising (except bruises that are slight and incidental to proper handling and packing practices). Our fresh green plantain has been grown, harvested, graded, packed and shipped in accordance with the highest standard procedures for commercial practices. Our product we’ll be stored and shipped with the equipment and at temperatures necessary for the best preservation of product. Our fresh green plantain meets and exceeds all local, state, and federal: food, drug, health, food safety, weights and measures, and cooling regulations. We comply with all pesticide acts, and do no modify genetically our plantations. Packaging We use only 2 piece cartons with telescopic lids (Carton 22XU-PW- SF101). Each box will also include a clear poly liner, along with a 50lb paper liner.  Containers If product need to be containerized it will be done at the port of origin in Ecuador (Guayaquil). High cubes Containers usually carry 1080 banana boxes (20 pallets of 54 boxes each). Pallets Palletized product will be shipped on certificated and approved standard hardwood pallets.  PLU Labeling If needed we will use the authorized P.L.U number. And on the PLU labels will include the country of origin (Ecuador). Minimum PLU coverage per each box is 75%.
