HS-830 Colloidal Silica is an alkaline, aqueous dispersion of colloidal silica with 29% - 31% silica (SiO2) by weight with an average particle size from 8 to 10 nm. The silica dispersion is
sodium stabilized, with a pH value ranging from 9.5 to 10.5. The physical appearance of HS-830 is a translucent liquid, slightly more viscous than water.

Applications
HS-830 is a versatile, small particle size colloidal silica designed for universal purposes, aiming to offer excellent stability and exceptional cost-effectiveness across various applications.
HS-830A features one of the smallest particle sizes and highest surface area grades within our product lines.
The high surface area property makes HS-830 one of the best binders for increasing the mechanical durability of molded materials in investment casting (surface layer), refractory materials, and
ceramic applications. The small particle size of HS-830 allows it to easily penetrate the porous surfaces of concrete, thus increasing density and improving hardness as a densifier. Other
applications include coatings and adhesives for durability improvements and adhesion promotion.

Storage
The products should be transported and stored at a temperature of 20 - 40°C (68 - 104 °F). Avoid direct sunlight for any translucent or transparent packages. Products should be used within 12
months of the manufactured dates.

area with plenty of water and seek professional medical help if needed.
