Cinnamon Chips

GKDS Spice Trading is a grower and processor of fine Ceylon Cinnamon in Hikkaduwa,in the south of Sri Lanka. The family plantation was established by Mr G Girigoris De Silva in the 1920s and later passed to his youngest son, G.Karunasena who continued the development of the plantation into a renown producer of quality cinnamon. GKDS is now in the safe hands of the third generation of the family, Mr Krishantha De Silva. Krishantha continues to employ many local and loyal workers and has expanded the product line to include cinnamon oil as well as the traditional cinnamon lines. The cinnamon grown here is of the highest quality and is processed on site as bark oil, leaf oil, finest grade cinnamon quills and outer bark cinnamon suited for further processing.
