Titanium Machining
How to customize your parts
1. Contact us with your
requirements and drawings. All versions of drawing are acceptable.
2. We will check your
drawing and confirm the most proper solution with you.
3. Prepare required
material.
4. Go to machining. The
whole process is as following:
a. Milling
b. Drilling
c. Boring
d. Turning
e. Bending
f. Punching
g. EDM
h. Flame cutting
i. Welding
j. Electric
spark
k. Grinding
5. Each process
mentioned in step 4 is inspected, and will not be passed to next process until the quality is approved.
6. The last step is
finishing. We introduced ways of finishing:
nickel plated ; blacken ; chrome plated ; zinc plated ; color anodized ; polishing ;
phosphorization ; acid pickling ; painting ; powder coated
Material we handle
Titanium:
We process titanium of all grade. However, Gr1~4 titanium is always considered more as pure titanium than alloy. Among this scope, the yield strength and tensile strength increases as grade
number increases. The strength-to-weight ratio of this scope is high, and they are lighter than steel. Gr5 is the most common alloy material to machined parts for its high strength and high
temperature-bearing ability. This is the reason that Gr5 titanium alloy is widely used in production of parts of aerospace, medical and so on.Gr7 and Gr9 is also a popular material for better
strength and performance on elevated temperature.
Aluminum:
For characteristics of high strength-to-weight ratio and fatigue-resistance, etc., aluminum alloy is widely used in production of aircrafts parts, bicycle parts, packing material,
medical equipment parts, etc. The grade of aluminum we process includes 2000 series, 5000 series, 6000 series and 7000 series.
Tantalum: We
mainly deal with ASTM B708 pure tantalum sheet to customize mesh. Characteristics like hydrofluouric acid dissolvable only, fourth highest melting point of all metals and oxide-free, etc.,
and tantalum sheet can be punched to be extremely thin, all these characteristics make it an ideal material to mesh.
Hastelloy:
Due to excellent anti-corrosion and high temperature endurance ability, hastelloy is widely applied in chemical processing, oil / gas exploration and pharmaceutical industry, etc.
We normally handle C-276 hastelloy, but others is also available.
Steel: Steel
is the most common material to make parts such as shafts, fittings, etc in the world. And for different industrial purpose, the type and model of steel can be vary. We are quite familiar with
all kinds of steel and most of them are available.
DGS customizes variety parts such as
nozzles, fittings, shafts, valves, fasteners, meshes, bicycle parts, medical prostheses and equipment parts, etc. The industrial filed we stepped in is oil and gas, automotive, water
treatment, aerospace, medical, etc.
With high grade of machine tools like HAAS VF 4-axies machining center, we carry out high precision machining of industrial parts. For turning, the Max.diameter we can handle is 10’, the
tolerance is
±0.001
and beyond ; for machining, the tolerance is
±0.0006 and beyond. With grinding tool, the roughness of workpirce is also guaranteed in term of required standard. As for inspection, we introduced 3-coordinate tool to
ensure accuracy and shaping.
