Sudan exports three recognized grade :
1-Sudanese white Sesame seed
2-White/red sesame seed
3-Mixed Sesame seed
*Uses of Sesame:
1- Oil Industry.
2- Confectionary and Biscuit
industry.
3- Tahini – a traditional
Middle Eastern Sesame paste.
4- Dip and spread
manufacturers – add ingredients such as chickpeas and eggplant to Tahini and call the product Homus and Baba Gnnouj.
5- Bakery industry.
6- Halva industry – Halva is
a popular sweet made by mixing approximately 50% Tahini with boiled wiped sugar and other ingredients.

Packing and Export:
Packing
is done in 50 KG PP bags, and exported in 20 feet containers which will carry 19 metric tons.
