The Sidikalang coffee plantation area is located at an altitude of 1,500 meters above sea level in the Bukit Barisan mountain area. Sidikalang coffee is considered one of the best coffee varieties in Sumatra, along with Gayo coffee, Simalungun, etc. Sidikalang Robusta coffee is known for its low acidity. The caffeine level of this coffee reaches 70–80%. The taste of Sidikalang coffee is similar to chocolate and slightly sweet, and the fragrance is not too sharp, so this type of coffee is suitable for coffee connoisseurs who don't really like strong flavors and is safe for consumption for coffee connoisseurs who have stomach problems.
