Dry Type Transformer

The dry-type transformers are widely used in local lighting, high-rise buildings, airports, terminals CNC mechanical equipment and other places. In brief, the dry-type transformer means that the cores and windings are not immersed in the insulation oil. The cooling modes are divided into natural air cooling (AN) and forced air cooling (AF). For natural air cooling, the transformer can run continuously for a long time under the rated capacity. For forced air cooling, the transformer output capacity can be increased by 50%, which is suitable for intermittent overload operation or emergency overload operation; because the overload operation is involved with the increase of load loss and impedance voltage and the non-economical operation occurs, long time continuous overload operation should be avoided.
