Although it is made by different groups of arthropods animals, such as spiders and various insects, most recently only the silk which is made by the larvae - the "Silkworm" - is used in manufacturing textile industry. There has been some research in search of other types of silks with different properties, which differ at the molecular level. In general, the main reason behind making silk us with insect larvae before the metamorphosis is completed, but there are also cases of silks produced by adult specimens. Viscose is known as a cellulose fiber previously solubilized and subsequently regenerated. It is a very versatile fiber that has the same properties regarding the comfort of use than other natural fibers, being able to imitate the touch of silk, wool, cotton and also linen.
