Medical Gloves

Medical examination gloves are often made of latex or synthetic materials such as nitrile or vinyl Pvc . For concentrated acids and alkalis, and organic solvents, natural rubber, neoprene or nitrile gloves are recommended. For handling hot objects, gloves made of heat-resistant materials (leather or Nomex  should be available and kept nearby. A hot object should never be picked up with rubber or plastic gloves.. The most common material used for making household gloves is latex, a form of rubber. Usually, the gloves have a cotton "flock" lining for easily taking them on and off.  What is nitrile? Unlike latex disposable gloves, which are made from natural rubber, nitrile gloves are synthetic. Nitrile is short for acrylonitrile  butadiene rubber. This material is created from monomers  acrylonitrile and butadiene  which are molecules that are bonded together .  Most cotton gloves are designed to be reused multiple times..This means that you will need to clean your gloves regularly to keep them like new. Machine-washable cotton gloves are very easy to clean, as you can simply toss them in the washing machine. Other gloves will need to be washed by hand.
