Baikal skullcap (botanical origin - Scutellaria baicalensis Georg (syn. Scutellaria macrantha Fisch.) is used in cosmetics, food supplements and additive for animals. The root (radix) is used for
the production of baikal skullcap dry extract. Baikal skullcap extract is a yellowish or light mustard-coloured powder with a vegetable smell and a bitter taste. The range of therapeutic effects
is wide: it is used in the treatment of acute respiratory infections, cancer, atherosclerosis and epilepsy. The substances contained in the baikal skullcap do not accumulate in the body and are
