Samarium Cobalt Smco Magnets Sm2Co17 ,SmCo5 key words: SmCo rare earth magnets; Sintered Smco Magnet ; permanent SmCo magnets About the SmCo magnets: Sintered Samarium Cobalt rare-earth (SmCo) magnets are manufactured by using powder metallurgy techniques which include stringent process controls and complicated heat treatment cycles. The composition of this alloy is approximately 35% Samarium, 60% Cobalt with the balance being Fe and Cu. By Varying the percentages of this composition and changing the sintering, heat treatment cycles the two grade 1:5 and 2:17 are produced. The difference between them is in energy product, temperature coefficient and magnetization force required tosaturate. The 2:17 offers a better performance & lower temperature coefficient, however it is slightly more expensive and requires very high fields to magnetise it. We are experienced and professional in manufacturing and exporting various kinds of magnets.Below is the simple introduction of other magnets. 1.Rubber magnets, which are a composite material consisting of Ferrite magnet powder and rubber which provides the flexibility. Flexible magnets are abailable in strips, tapes and sheet format with or without self-adhesive backing. These are available in both Anisotropic & Isotropic grades. The Isotropic grades can be supplied with a coloured or plain white vinyl finish. Ferrite flexible magnets have existed as a product for over 30 years and principle applications include reed switch operation, magnetic masks and general light holding. This material can be readily cut using a sharp knife or scissors. It is also possible to injection mould ferrite magnet products, however specialist tooling is required. 2. Rare earth magnet, including sintered Neodymium-Iron-Boron, bonded Neodymium-Iron-Boron, sintered Samarium-Cobalt. All magnets are supplied in a wide range of shapes such as: rectangular blocks, discs, rings and segments. 3.Ferrite magnet: Hard ferrite magnet and soft ferrite magnet including the MnZn and NiZn To find out more about the Metal Injection Molding (MIM) or our products, you can take a look at www.brm-metal.en..com and www.brm-metal.com or contact us with the following infomation if you are interesting 1.Magnet property such as the Br, Hci, Hcb, BHmax 2.Magnetization direction 3.Package requirements 4.Quantity (monthly or annual demand) 5.Drawing with dimensions and tolerances, material, surface treatment requirements, etc.
