Its silicon and special resin content makes it more water and vapor-repellent and permeable and prevents the paint from bubbling and peeling especially in humid environments, while enhancing the wipe-clean durability of the paint. The paint’s elasticity allows it to be applied onto surfaces with micro-cracks without the need for putty or filler. Its low VOC value makes it more environmentally friendly Surface Preparation & Application Ensure the surface is smooth, stable, dry, and free from dust. Holes and cracks that require filling prior to application should be filled with Perla Putty. Apply Transfer Primer to old solvent-based surfaces. Apply Filler Primer is recommended for mineral-based, coarse mortar surfaces that are to be painted for the first time. Apply Polizolan Primer, A-Star Primer* or Elegans Extra Primer on plastered surfaces. Apply the paint as 2 coats to primed surfaces after 18-24 hours. Minimum of 4 hours resting time between each coat. The surface temperature and ambient temperature must be between 5°C and 35°C during application. *When A-Star Primer is used for surface preparation, top-coat paint consumption decreases by 15-20%.
