IPOL Rubber Oil 701 is aromatic rubber process oil manufactured from selected aromatic hydrocarbon
produced during the solvent extraction process of the oil refinery. Aromatic molecules have more influence
on rubber properties than any other molecules and are generally present in the two or three ring forms. They
indicate the compatibility between oil & rubber, depending on the rubber type.
In aromatic rubber process oils higher aromatic hydrocarbon leads to improvement of solvency & therefore
better compatibility with Natural & synthetic rubber.
The important roles of processing oils is to reduce the viscosity of filled rubber mixes and improve process
ability of compounds. Another quite important contribution of the oils is to improve the filler dispersion and
therefore the strength of the rubber compounds.
