The jaggery is made by further melting and solidifying the nectar. It was the custom of past villagers to make rasamasavulu from Kitul honey. They used to take medicinal drinks like Belimal, Ranavara, Iramusu with Kitul Jaggery. They also used to put a sweet betel nut on a root made of leaves and hang it on the ground.
