Bonny Light Crude Oil is a high-grade Nigerian Crude oil produced in the Niger Delta Basin of Delta State. The crude
is named after the name of the City where it is emanates, Bonny City. The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation is the official unit in control of BLCO.
BLCO has lower Sulfur content by World Standards, so it is in high demand for its corrosive impacts on refinery
infrastructure and the low environmental impact of its byproducts. The Sulfur content varies between 0.14% and 0.16%.
BLCO has great gasoline yields. Gasoline also known as petrol or motor gasoline, is one of the major petroleum
products from processed crude oil.
