Adult 10 mg immediately before retiring or in bed. Use lowest effective dose. Max: must not exceed 10 mg. Should be taken in single intake & not be re-administrated during the same night.
Not recommended for long-term use & course of treatment should not exceed 4 wk. In certain cases, extension beyond max treatment period may be necessary; if so, this should not take place w/o
re-evaluation of patient's status. Elderly & hepatic impairment 5 mg. Max: should not exceed 10 mg.
