Use and maintenance of quench oil tank
The new quenching tank / quenching tank must be cleaned before use, and no water cut. The old quenching tank should be cleaned of oil sludge, oxide scale and carbon black before
using. After adding quenching oil, dehydration and degassing are necessary. When preparing quenching oil and transportation, there will be air mixing. In addition, there is also the dissolution
of water in the quenching oil. Before heating, use the temperature to maintain one or two shifts.
Quenching oil tank / quenching tank should have cooling and heating device. The temperature should be controlled within the prescribed limits, and the temperature should not be as
high as possible.
Quench tank / quench tank should have a stirring device. Propeller agitation is good, followed by circulating pumps, preferably without air pumps. The mixing degree is moderate and
effective, so that the temperature of the quenching zone is uniform.
Quench tank / quenching tank should be cleaned regularly. It is usually half a year to one year. In peacetime, we should pay attention to prevent the pollution of quenching oil.
