This hormone is used in androgen replacement therapy primarily for the treatment of male hypogonadism, and is currently under research for use as a male contraceptive.  Bodybuilding Testosterone is the male hormone responsible for gaining muscle, losing fat, gaining strength and other man-like features. For bodybuilders and competitive athletes, this dosage will not do very much, and they tend to dose up to 480mg per day. Though, personally I found these doses to be a bit excessive.
