BROWN FUSED ALUMINA REFRACTORY» Description Brown fused aluminum oxide, otherwise known as Brown Fused Alumina or BFA, it is produced by controlled melting of calcined bauxite in an electric arc furnace. Brown fused aluminum oxide is both a hard  and tough material with high strength. Its thermal properties make it an excellent raw material for refractory castables, high alumina refractory bricks, shaped and unshaped refractory materials, fireproof coating.
