An injection molding machine is used to produce plastic products using pelleted or granular raw plastic by melting, injecting, packing and cooling cycle. A number of parameters are considered during the injection molding process including the injection rate, pressure, mold thickness, screw design, etc. Injection molding machine can be classified into three different categories: general-purpose machine, precision, tight-tolerance machine and high speed, thin-wall machine.
