Good Day – My name is Jerry Mallonee - CEO and owner of Image Industries of NC located in Newton, North Carolina - US I have a need for a braided or twisted polyester - or other – maybe UHMWPE I am selling this as a spring tying twine and the product must have these qualities: #1- 2.5mm to 3.0mm in diameter #2- High break strength – 380 pounds + #3 - Stretch – Up to 20% #4 - Must hold a knot well - I think most braided and twisted products will #5 – Can’t fray when cut (Important!) and Can’t squeak or make any noise once applied – this goes into upholstered furniture and any noise when people sit down will not work – we can test – Some accomplish this with a light wax coating #6 - This spring tying twine is applied by hand – the product can't have a rough surface or it will cut the operator's hands - A waxed product or other might help #7 - Put-Ups – Must be a package that is consistent and weighs 3 to 4 KG each #8- Very competitive pricing needed with these volumes #9 – Minimal to no fraying #10 – Pricing must come in at $.020 per meter or less This is a high-volume product with over 300,000 - meters usage per month to start – with the correct product and pricing this could go to 1,000,000 – meters per month.
