We have a water turbine where, under normal service, the inlet valve (see pictures) is fully open. We want to change and replace the water inlet valve to a DN300 PN10 butterfly counterweight valve, in ductile iron, flanges as to DIN 28604, with electrical actuator, which will slowly close (to avoid water hammer) after it receives an ON signal from a speed sensor. The actuator can be either an electrical motor or, a solenoid device with built in hydraulic regulable retarder for the valve. For the sensor, we would thank you if you contact and coordinate with asuitable manufacturer in China and include it in your offer.
