We are looking to have a smaller model version of the ePIV (one of our pressure independent valves). We do not want a working demo with water - and the valve does not work without water flowing thru it - so I wanted to build on the idea of McDonald's free Avatar giveway. You only need to look at 0.56 sec to 1.27 sec of the video - so you can fast forward the bar to this place. This is the Direhorse. Note how you turn it on and the small LED lights up the back of the horse. We want to do this to show how our ePIV works. Anyway, the idea for the demo unit is to have an ePIV that is about 6'' high, 10-12'' long and 3-4'' wide (based on a scaled model of the real unit dimensions). It would be a plastic/resin version of the larger product. Then, have a button that you press and the LED could light up the valve, sensor, and actuator. An addition would be to then have a blue LED that would show how the water comes thru the valve and then light up the sensor and actuator and valve in sequence so that we can explain how it works by using the lights to point out the various parts of the valve.
