I just got the above tender alart, which will take duration of one year to transport Sand and crushed stone/pebble, from (Bagamoyo port-Zanzibar port- 35nm) in Tanzania for reconstruction of Zanzibar Airport. They need 1500-2000tons per voyage. Due to that they need to charter Land Craft Tank(LCT) of about 3000DWT for one year continuos contract. and she may be sold while is in the middle of contract. So kindly could you please find for us the hired LCT for that size ASAP in order to win that business? The Client is on our neck waiting for quick respond. Note that the port of loading will take approx.2days and port of discharge will take one day. And the cost per that short voyage/trip approx 30-35nm will be 20,000usd per trip.
