The vest should be according to NIJ IIIA standard, giving protection against 9mm Full Jacketed Round Nose (FMJ RN) bullets and 44 Magnum Semi Jacketed Hollow Point (SJHP) bullets. Two removable insert plates of level III+ for front and back (Lightweight). Inserts are made up of ceramics and are in conjunction with the fabric vest; they must be removable.
