Company Overview

Our company has a long history and combined trading experience of over 30 years. DvM Trading B.V. (Dewit van Maurik Trading) is a cooperation between TvM Trading based in the Netherlands and Dewit Food and Beverages located in Hongkong.

In the early eighties, Jan de Wit established a company on Taiwan with his partner from New Zealand, exporting a variety of products. His partner went back to New Zealand and Jan continued with his Hongkong company Dewit Food & Beverages Ltd., while living in Taiwan in 2010.

We focussed on beverages and participated on Taipei trade shows for several years. Our main supplier was the Belgium brewery Bavik. Clients on Taiwan ranged from SevenEleven to some smaller chain stores. Due to exhaustive requirements and payments we slowly reverted to the more lucrative trade in well-known brands from Europe to China, Singapore and Australia.

Trading in the same business, Jan came in contact with William van Maurik, who was residing in Xiamen and operating his business TvM Trading also exporting beverages from Europe to China and Vietnam. William started in 2014 with recognized beer brands followed with well know spirits

It took another year before both decided to join hands and established DvM Trading B.V. in 2019. Now either have returned to the Netherlands and continue trading with beverages to China, Vietnam, Laos, Taiwan and Montenegro.

Future plans are to co-operate with a few breweries and distillers to expand our business and furthermore to gain long term support and sales.

Our sales expressed in 40 feet containers have been: 2021 – 85 and 2022 – 110.

Market share: China 35%, Vietnam 48%, Other Asian countries 7%, East Europe 10%. References are available upon request!
