Company Overview

We are leveraging technology to create new opportunities… At TABCO (www.tabcogb.com) our mission is to implement technologies that solve problems through the creation of new opportunities while making life easier and happier for our clients/customers and the community at large. As such, our technological solutions cut across various industries that are part and parcel of the daily lives of our clients/customers and the wider community. These business areas are as follows:

1.   Satellite communications (GPS Systems): Given an ever-rising need for seamless contact with loved ones and business partners, remote areas pose a threat to this communication link. This is especially evident in fishing environments far from land as well as tourist attractions like mountains and national parks not served by local land-based telecoms networks. To address these communication challenges, TABCO (www.tabcogb.com) collaborates with global and continental partners to offer top-notch GPS Tracking solutions controlled by satellite and facilitated by the industry’s top software and tracking devices. These partners are US-California-based Globalstar (https://www.globalstar.com) and South African-based Wintec Solutions (https://www.wintecsolutions.co.za).

2. Entrepreneurial and general education:

The world over, there is a constant decline in job opportunities. At TABCO, we view this as a gap in our existing education systems. We believe our current education package needs complementing. This can be achieved via expanding the thinking abilities and entrepreneurial motivation of those in learning centers (i.e., schools, colleges, universities) and in real-world practice to better enable them to create jobs and practical solutions for other pressing problems in our communities. To walk the talk, TABCO hereby presents Elimu-Maarifa (https://www.elimumaarifa.com). This is an online platform where the youth in schools, colleges, universities, and all other positively ambitious minds in all working environments can be inspired and motivated to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. The inspiration and motivation are to be acquired through simple yet interesting thought-provoking questions and answers that span the names, business success, and lessons derived from the leading transformative entrepreneurial figures in this world.

3. Family farming by small-scale producers :

Statistics suggest over 80% of food supplies in this world are produced by small-scale farmers on their smallholder farms mostly in remote rural areas. Impliedly, over 80% of global food security needs are addressed by these small-holder producers. Yet, other records show these small-scale producers face difficult conditions including limited access to affordable sources of business financing as well as unreliable markets or buyers of their produce. As usual, TABCO strives to be part of a solution to community problems. Through its website (https://familyfarming.co.tz), TABCO provides farmers and agriculture stakeholders the resources, articles, and key insights to improve family farming in Tanzania and globally. This includes an opportunity for family farmers to promote their products on this website so they could be linked to potentially more lucrative markets or buyers. Suppliers of problem-solving technologies are also welcome here.

4.     Where trust and transparency are not guaranteed in multiparty dealings/transactions

All major development practitioners agree that group activities (e.g., farmer groups or cooperatives) are a logical way of solving challenges faced by individual small-scale producers. However, there is mounting evidence that the lack of good governance within these groups renders the collective positive prospects unachievable. Rogue representatives in these cooperatives abuse their key positions to exploit the group resources to their advantage. To address this challenge, TABCO presents Value Monitoring Tool (VMTool) (https://emtbza.com). This is a web- and mobile-based application that promotes good governance in member-based organizations through enhanced trust, transparency, and instant notifications in group dealings and transactions. Thus, the VMTool offers a cutting-edge technology resource for cooperatives, small/medium businesses/organizations, and even two-member teams to monitor transparently and instantly their business dealings and financial transactions. The good thing is, that VMTool solves the proximity problem – a group can manage its business affairs and financial transactions transparently and instantly even when members are virtually scattered across the globe!

5.     Sales and marketing

As seen above, TABCO works hard to be part of any solution that solves problems facing local communities as well as the world at large. This involves partnerships with global, regional/continental, and even local partners. While most functions in organizations create cost centers, TABCO has chosen to help these organizations to create revenue centers through the promotion of sales and marketing of their products (goods and services). In this regard, TABCO presents Globosales (https://www.globosales.com), an e-commerce platform that offers new trading opportunities online to business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-customer (B2C) customers/clients. Here, you will find our business partners’ satellite devices, Robusta coffee, and marine fish on offer for sale to both local and global markets. More products for displaying here are in the pipeline…
